WTNC Winners, come on down!
We at Escape Velocity, the World Tuesday Night Championships World Headquarters, would like to congratulate the WTNC category winners. More specifically, we'd like to pay them, but we will only do that on one condition: you have to show up next Tuesday.
About next Tuesday: the racing will go on as usual, and as usual will be shine only. Also, we'd like you to come out in retro kit and on a retro bike. What the heck, it's just for fun as the last race of the year doesn't count for the WTNC omnium standings.
However, the WTNC award ceremony and the Garneau Evolution win-a-bike draw will be Rain Or Shine. Traditionally, we retreat to a covered location for these activities if it's too wet for racing. Our lovely and talented WTNC Twitter feed should tell you where to go if it's wet.
Oh yes, we will also be drawing for the bike or bikes! If you still want a ticket for that, please come next Tuesday, as we will be able to sell you a ticket there. You can also contact Jak New by email. You do not have to be present to win. We will have secondary prizes from La Bicicletta Pro Shop, Moveo, Peak, Kicking Horse Coffee and PowerBar.
