The dEVas are proud to announce that they will be hosting the revived Warp Speed Time Trial on July 26. It's the perfect way to prepare for the provincial time trial championships, too.
But wait, there's more! This year, there will also be a Team Time Trial category, because misery loves company! No wait, that's not right. Because nothing goes together like aero bars and group rides!
Ahem. Those brave bold enough to do so will be permitted to ride both the Individual and Team events at no extra charge. Also, if you're coming from Vancouver Island, contact event organizer Stuart Lynne ahead of time and he'll slot you into a later start time so you can make it from the ferry.
Full details at the Warp Speed TT page.
EV went to the Westside Classic and came away with some very respectable hardware.
In the Women's race, dEVo's Naomi Cooper, returning to the green livery of our young-and-fast division, proved that she's still young and fast by taking second place on the toughest BC Cup course of the year. EV's Lisa Howard picked up fifth in the same race.

Yep. Our Women Youth Cycling Program starts on June 15, with the goal of giving teenaged and young women (ages 14-22) a comprehensive introduction to competitive cycling.
The program will run 8 weeks, is run by a team of experienced racers and NCCP-certified coaches, and is super-cheap at only $100.
If this sounds interesting to you (or your daughter, or perhaps some other qualifying young woman of your acquaintance), then check out the WYCP page for complete details and sign-up info, and sign up!
