We are pleased to present DonkeyCross (now part of the Vancouver Cyclocross Coalition Series), returning to Port Coquitlam’s Castle Park, located just minutes from Vancouver. We are thrilled to once again partner with the City of Port Coquitlam and are hugely grateful for their excellent support of active use of their community parklands.

Where / when:

Saturday September 16, 2017.

Castle Park in Port Coquitlam, just off the Mary Hill Bypass.

Please leave extra time for registration and sign-on if this is your first race of the VCXC Series, or if you are completing day-of registration.

We suggest arriving at least one hour before your start time.

Single Day License

cbc license & single event insurance information:
  • one day and bc ride licenses can race in any category outside of elite. 
  • one day and bc ride licenses however will not be eligible for bc premier series points or provincial call ups.
  • one day and bc ride licenses will not be eligible to win the provincial championship


VCXC Season's Pass


In case of injury or illness, refunds for race entry fees may be considered at the discretion of the organizer, but only if the request is received before midnight the day before the race.

The Spring Series race payment system has an administrative fee of $5 per refund which will be passed onto the rider; the refund will be the value of your original race entry fee, less $5.

Please contact us with your request by midnight the day before the race.


All races are sanctioned by CyclingBC and are governed by CBC rules.

Bicycles in the Elite (A) races must conform to UCI Cyclo-cross Regulations (PDF). For all other categories, run what you brung.

For EV-specific race rules, please refer to the EV Race Bible (PDF).

All lapped riders will finish on the same lap as the first place rider.  If there are 45+ in a category, lapped riders will be pulled by the commissaire.

Licensing / Race Groups:

All racers must hold a valid UCI, CyclingBC Provincial, USAC, or USCF license.

Single-day licenses can be purchased at Registration for $10.

Category Upgrades:

If you have 2 wins or 3 top-5 finishes in races within your specific region (Island, Lower Mainland, Interior), you will be required to up-grade to the next category level.

Prizes and Podiums:

Equal prizing for Elite (A) men and women
Prizing for all other categories: accumulation of VCXC series points towards series prizing.











  • All riders receiving awards are required to be present for the podium, and be in proper podium attire (clean cycling kit).
  • Failure to abide by these rules will result in forfeiture of prizes.
