It's that time of year again for the annual EV Toy Ride in support of the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.

This organization been assisting less fortunate families since 1930 by providing toys for children and food vouchers for families throughout the Lower Mainland. Please help us make Christmas just a bit brighter for everyone. Our fundraising goal for this year is $1600 by December 10. If you are able, we ask that you provide a donation by means of cheque or cash or on-line through Chimp.net. Please note that online donations will incur a small transaction fee. Your full name and address will be needed in order to issue a tax receipt.

The Toy Ride goes back nearly twenty years, originally organized by the late Lorne Bodin while part of Team Soliton. Following the merger of Soliton with Escape Velocity in 2006, Lorne continued the Toy Ride tradition under the Escape Velocity banner.

If you are unable to attend the ride but still wish to donate using a cheque, you may still do so by dropping your cheque off at Bicycle Sports Pacific, any time up until December 10.

Ride departs at 9:30AM on Saturday November 18 from BSP Bikes at 999 Pacific Ave. Complimentary refreshments will be served fromo 8:30 - 9:30. This ride is open to all riders from all clubs, but we ask that you please have full-length fenders with extensions on your bike.
