It is with regret that we are cancelling the Provincial Youth Criterium Championship, scheduled for Friday, July 28. The Provincial Youth Road Race and Time Trial Championships will proceed as scheduled, on July 29 & 30.
We have made this decision due to considerations for the safety of the athletes. We felt our course as proposed for the championships would not be up to the expected standard for youth provincials, and our efforts to secure a different venue were unsuccessful.
All competitors will receive a $25 refund on their registration, in consideration of the loss of the criterium. This will be refunded at the registration desk at Saturday or Sunday's races.
We apologize to the athletes and families affected by this decision, and appreciate your patience with us.
Questions regarding this decision can be emailed to the organizers via our contact page.
